Commercial Background
Chem-Dry Restoration and Cleaning was established in 1993 as a dedicated provider of restoration and repair services to the Insurance industry operating through a Chem-Dry franchise-licensed network.
In addition to the Chem-Dry franchisees there are small but significant number of Chem-Dry owned restoration units which it is our intention to increase.
Chem-Dry UK Ltd wholly owns Concept Document & Electrical Restoration
In April 2005 Chem-Dry UK Ltd became a wholly owned subsidiary of Homeserve Plc, a major supplier of home emergency products and services to the UK insurance industry.
Some Current Commercial Clients are: Houses of Parliament, Hilton Hotel, Group, Signet group, British Gas, Perth Council, Nothumbrian Water
Commercial Expertise
In the past 18 months, Chemdry have developed and built a commercial restoration capability/service which targets the Small to Medium sized Enterprise (SME) commercial sector of the market.
During the development of the service Chemdry have identified and aimed o deliver a service specifically tailored to meet the SME and Broker requirements. An integral part of their strategy was to import knowledge from existing restoration service providers and Insurance Brokers and have recruited 3 high level Individuals to deliver this.
Chemdry's strategy is to expand its share of the commercial SME restoration market by offering a dedicated commercial service to targeted additional existing and new clients. This includes:
- Dedicated commercial claims team with individual case ownership by a fully trained claims handler
- Project Management by a Network Managers experienced in commercial claims where the loss is in excess of £5,000
Targeted franchisees and technicians who have been through intensive commercial training
