This section provides you with information and updates direct from the Liability Claims team who are based in Glasgow.
We have made a slight change to our processes to allow our incoming work to be scanned onto our image system, quickly and effectively. All post that is sent to our physical location in Glasgow is now automatically re–directed to our PO Box address in London where the post will be quickly scanned to allow our Glasgow claims handlers to work on them. We therefore ask you to avoid writing to our Glasgow address and to either phone or e mail us. Clearly paperwork will still need to be sent therefore please forward this to our PO Box address, listed below, with immediate effect.

Upon receipt of all our new claims, you would hear from one of our dedicated claims handlers who will confirm their identity as well as their phone number and e mail address. We would hope therefore that you only need to use the following numbers to report new claims.

This box is cleared twice daily. Existing claims and ongoing correspondence should be e–mailed directly to the claims handler (who should give you their contact details at the start of the claim) or you can post to our PO Box, details below

Our Troubleshooter is available to assist Brokers should something go wrong with the usual claim handling. Please note that the Troubleshooter does not take calls directly from NU customers.
