Norwich Union Glasgow Liability Claims
In late 2000 NU moved to specialist claims sites in Glasgow, Worthing and Bristol as liability sites. In due course this was reduced to Glasgow.
When Glasgow was established as the NU liability site the aim was to handle the claims in a more innovative fashion. To do this there is greater use of the telephone, e-mail, pro active claims handling, various technical initiatives mentioned elsewhere, and much more.
All staff have been extensively trained, which is ongoing with commitment to continued learning at all levels. Experience levels continue to grow and staff are always looking for ways to innovate and improve claims handling, both in terms of customer service and claims spend control.
