Read some useful tips for completing a Premier Truck quotation
We've developed this Premier Truck online calculator to save you time. It will provide a quick indication of the premium and if your client accepts the premium, all you have to do is email the completed quote document to us, with one simple click of the mouse.
All we ask is that your client meets the following criteria for us to provide a quote in this way.
If the risk does not meet with the acceptance criteria, please contact your usual Norwich Union Office for a personal quote.
Important note. If your client has other commercial business with the Norwich Union, there may be further discounts available. Please contact your usual Norwich Union office for more detail.
Acceptance Criteria
- Your client owns up to 4 goods carrying vehicles
- Your client's vehicle is registered and kept in Great Britain, Isle of Man and the Channel Isles only
- Risks based in Northern Ireland are only acceptable for own goods use
- Your client is the registered owner of the vehicle which is to be insured.
- Your client must hold a current valid Operators Licence.
- Your client and any driver to be covered by this insurance must hold a current valid drivers license.
- No driver to be covered by this insurance has had any criminal convictions (other than motoring offences), or has been refused insurance or had any terms imposed on any other previous insurance policy.
- The value of any one vehicle to be insured must not exceed £250,000.
- No driver of any vehicle to be insured by this policy is undertaking any of the following occupations: Circus/Fairground workers, Musicians, Itinerant Trade or Workers, Showman, Vehicle Breakers or Dismantlers.
- The following occupations should be referred to your usual SBIC; Actor / Actress / Entertainment professional, Courier / Parcel delivery, Model, Professional Sports Person.
- No drivers to be covered by this insurance is to be over 70 years of age.
- Vehicles to be covered by this insurance are to have a Gross Vehicle Weight more than 3.5t but must not exceed 44t.
- No vehicles to be insured by this policy are to carry any Hazardous Goods or visit any Hazardous Locations.
- The following vehicles types are excluded from cover: Any vehicle used for breakdown/recovery purposes, Dustcarts and Road sweepers
- Cover for Annual Foreign use is excluded
- Your client and any additional driver to be covered by this insurance must not have more than 1 accident, loss or speeding conviction in the last 3 years and must never have been banned from driving.
