Norwich Union's Professional Indemnity policy offers a comprehensive range of covers, with the flexibility to select from a wide range of options.
Norwich Union's Solicitors Professional Indemnity policy offers you a core cover that meets all of the requirements of the Law Society of England and Wales.
The policy provides cover for any civil liability arising from private legal practice including indemnity for any awards made by an ombudsman (including the Legal Services Ombudsman).
Defence costs are payable in addition to the limit of indemnity.
We can offer limits of indemnity up to £5,000,000.

Fidelity:
The policy will indemnify you in respect of loss of your own money or property arising from the dishonest or fraudulent act of an employee, up to the value of £250,000.

Accountants' Fees:
The policy will pay up to £15,000 of accountants' fees incurred by you to investigate and substantiate a Fidelity loss.

Compensation for Court Attendance:
In the event we require you to attend court in connection with a claim under the policy, we will compensate you at a rate of up to £300 per person per day subject to an overall limit of £15,000.
