New European Intruder Alarms Standards

From 01.10.2005 all new intruder alarm systems installed must comply with new European Standards which will supersede the current British Standards.

The introduction of these new standards are likely to result in increased enquiries to intermediaries from customers and alarm installers wishing to check insurers alarm requirements for new systems.

A new 'Hardfacts' information sheet is available on the NU Risk Services website which outlines the new European Standards and which intermediaries will find useful when handling such enquiries.
