Following a review of business distribution, Norwich Union has appointed AIUA (Agricultural Insurance Underwriting Agency), to administer certain segments of its farm insurance product range. AIUA is part of the Towergate Partnership Ltd, which underwrite a wide range of specialist insurance and have a well established relationship with Norwich Union.

You may have been sent a list of the farm policies you have with Norwich Union. Due to the requirements of the Data Protection Act, each customer must be contacted to inform them that we intend to pass their details to AIUA. We ask that you distribute a letter to all customers named on the list. An AIUA Farm template letter has been created to help you with this task.

If you have not been contacted by Norwich Union regarding the conversion of your customer's farm policies, it will not be necessary for you to take any action.

If for any reason your client does not wish to have their details passed to AIUA, please e-mail GICONV@norwich-union.co.uk or fax 01903 273054. Norwich Union will then not pass information about the policyholder to AIUA.
