Change to Personal Motor Glass Repair/Replacement Supplier Arrangement
Following the acquisition of RAC, this has provided Norwich Union General Insurance (NUGI) with an opportunity to work closely with one of the leading names in the glass industry.
RAC Auto Windscreens provides a complete automotive glazing repair and replacement service (windscreens, rear windows and side windows) through the largest fitting centre network in the UK. Backed by a fleet of 1000 mobile fitting units, who together provide a true 24/7 national service, 365 days a year.
Additionally, RAC Auto Windscreens is the only replacement windscreen specialist with its own manufacturing operation, producing 250,000 windscreens a year ensuring greater parts availability.
From 1st December 2005 RAC Auto Windscreens became the preferred supplier for all vehicle glass repair and replacement work for Norwich Union.
In the event of a claim for vehicle glass or windscreen repair or replacement, all Norwich Union claimants must be referred to Clubline on the existing number, alternatively if you do not report claims via Clubline, the freephone number for Norwich Union glass claims is 0800 587 6824. This will ensure that your customer gets immediate assistance and that their vehicle is quickly made roadworthy again with the minimum fuss.
