Private Car Standard Excess Reduction
Following on from the recent communication in NewsInBrief around the reduction of Private Car excesses, please note Norwich Union will be reducing the standard policy excess on the intermediary Private Car product from £120 to £100 with effect from 13th February 2006.
All Corporate Partners and Schemes that use the generic Private Car product will also benefit from this change (Just Car is not included).
Existing customers will not have to wait until their renewal to benefit from this change, with all claims occurring 13th February 2006 onwards picking up the new excess level.
New business and renewal documentation is to be amended to reflect the new excess levels; however these will not be amended until the 13th February 2006 so those having received renewal documentation for February/March 2006 renewals will still see the £120 limit.
