Household Flood Data - Update
From August 2006, Norwich Union has updated its approach to postcodes that are at risk of flooding.
This has greatly increased the number of properties that can now be insured without you having to refer the risk to us first.
Following this latest review, the number of properties that are address level rated has been considerably reduced. That means there are now a lot more properties that you can quote for without the need for a referral.
The changes went live on both internal systems and software houses during July.
e-services (Brokers using N201 or Exceed) and rating guide users are not affected.
