Commercial e-services is now available
Following the successful implementation of a number of enhancements over the weekend, we are happy to confirm that the Commercial e-services system is now fully operational again. Thus allowing you to produce quotes and new business for our array of package products.
The enhancements are as follows:
Endorsement library
Following feedback from brokers a new edition to the Commercial e-services system is the Endorsement library. Selecting the icon next to the clause wording allows you to view and print off the Commercial clause wording.
Payment screens
We have introduced navigational aides for you to assist whilst completing the Payment section. Each of the pages has been numbered, increasing the ability to navigate between screens:
- Additional Details - Giving ability to add the correspondence address
- Payment Options - Lets you choose which method of payment the client would like. Options are 1. Broker Statement (Client will make payment directly with the agent) 2. Direct Debit (the client will set up a monthly Direct Debit with Norwich Union)
- Payment Terms - If Direct Debit is selected then this screen informs you of the Instalment charge, monthly amount payable and allows the printing of the terms and conditions
- Bank Details - The place to add the clients bank details
Shop and Salon
On the Shop and Salon product you will now have the ability to choose various Business Interuption limits:
- 600,000 over 24 months
- 800,000 over 24 months
- 1,000,000 over over 36 months
Brokers will also now have the ability to use up to 8 characters when completing the 'Turnover' field for the Shop and Salon product. Previously this field was restricted to 5 characters only.
e-collections
Brokers will now be able to process polisy business (Complex Commercial) via e-collections
You will now have the ability to make payments on policies upto 70 days past inception date.
