With immediate effect there will be a change in how to process full cycle EDI business on the Your Van product via the SSP system.

Previously on SSP you have been able to select either the Your Van or Your Van 'Assist' products.

Your Van is our standard product with no additional covers whereas the Your Van 'Assist' product includes Replacement Van and Breakdown cover.

Now you will be able to offer one or both of these add ons at the inception of a Your Van policy.

The Your Van 'Assist' product will remain available, but we would encourage you to use the Your Van product where possible, and select any additional covers required separately.

The new process for add on's on an SSP Your Van policy are as follows:

• Complete your new business quote as normal
• Select the Your Van product
• Once selected, press 'V' (V - for VIEW)
• Then select either 'A' for ADD ONS, or simply scroll to the bottom of the options in 'VIEW' and then hit 'enter' on the 'ADD ONS' option
• Once in the 'ADD ONS' section, highlight the additional covers required, e.g Replacement Vehicle / Breakdown cover and press 'enter' to select
• Once you have selected the relevant additional covers, select 'F' for FILE and 'RETAIN' to take up the quote as usual.
