Home and Travel Section Refresh
We're making some changes to the Travel Add-on cover for Your House and Home Plus and giving our Home Plus and Your House documentation a make over too.
These changes will be effective from 1 September for full cycle and manual new business and 12 October for full cycle and manual renewals.
New Travel Add-ons
The new Travel Add-on cover for Your House and Home Plus, has some reductions, and increases. Increases include new catastrophe cover, new pet care cover, £1,000 missed departure and much more. The documents have also been given a refreshed look:

Home Plus and Your House
To tie in with the refreshed Travel Add On we have given our Home Plus and Your House a make over too. There are no underwriting changes just a fresher look.
A couple of things to note are:
- The previous Notices to Policyholder are now obsolete (Home Plus BHHHPO161 and Your House BHHYH0124), so if you have any stocks left, they can go.
- There will be a new Notice to Policyholder for all Your House and Home Plus customers from 3 September, referenced BHHHP2438. This new notice outlines changes made to comply with Financial Services Authority Regulations.
- There will be a new Notice to Policyholder, referenced BTRTG2174, and Travel policy section for all Your House and Home Plus customers who have the Travel add-on already inforce
These changes mean that you will need to order new household and travel add-on documentation. This is available from 1 August for travel add-on and 1 September for household, please ensure it is used effectively to tie in with the above dates.
