Postal strike - Norwich Union information
As we're sure you're aware the Communications Workers Union (CWU) called two 48 hour strikes of their Royal Mail Workers earlier this month.
The last strike came to an end yesterday but with further 'wildcat action' expected over the next few days we expect to see significant delays to our postal service to brokers, particularly the sending of policy documentation.
We'd like to take this opportunity to remind you that you can download all your policy documentation, straight to your desktop, from e-documents.
e-documents is an easy way to find all of your motor* and small business documents (even if you didn't originally trade them online) on e-services.
You can use e-documents to view, print or email your paperwork whenever you need to. Getting that important paperwork to your clients without having to rely on the post.
You can find e-documents on e-services by logging into the commercial e-services section and selecting Services. Then plug in your policy number and select search, it's that simple.
And if you don't have the policy number to hand you can also search by your client's name, what product they bought or by transaction type.

* The DVLA have told us that online certificates have to be downloaded and printed by authorised agents otherwise they won't accept them for vehicle licensing purposes.
