New standalone business is handled by Sailplan Plus, a dedicated team, who administer our clients business on our behalf.
Renewal of our existing policies are offered through Sailplan Plus on our policy wording. Pleasurecraft is still available as an 'add on' to the standard household products.
Small Craft - Protection for small craft
This is a product offering protection for small craft up to 5 metres in length with a maximum engine size of 125 BHP.
Small Craft cover includes dinghies, motor boats and sailing boats used for private pleasure purposes.
Customers have access to our 24-hour emergency and legal advice helpline.
Key benefits:
- cover for use in inland and coastal waters of the UK
- option to extend cruising range
- cover for loss or damage to the vessel and equipment
- personal accident cover for policyholder and/or spouse up to £10,000 each
- no claims discount (NCD) up to 25 per cent
- maximum hull limit on Sailplan Plus is £2.5m
Sailplan Plus, along with Norwich Union's marine trade business, is administered by Towergate Marine Underwriting (TMU). Norwich Union remains the risk carrier.
