Renewal of our existing policies are offered through Sailplan Plus on our policy wording. Pleasurecraft is still available as an 'add on' to the standard household products.
Yacht and Motorboat - Protection for vessels
Yacht and Motorboat offers protection for vessels between 5 and 9.75 metres in length, used for private pleasure within UK waters.
Flexible options include a racing risk extension for sailing vessels.
Customers also have access to a 24 hour emergency helpline and legal advice.
Key benefits:
- Use in inland and coastal waters of the UK (the cruising range may be extended, subject to certain criteria)
- Cover for loss or damage to the vessel and equipment
- Liability up to £1 million for any one event
- Personal Accident cover for policyholder and/or spouse up to £10,000 each
- No claims discount (NCD) up to 25 per cent
- maximum hull limit on Sailplan Plus is £2.5m
